arWe are constantly looking for new talents from Scandinavia, so please feel free to send us your demos. We do, however, appreciate it if you take the time to read this first:

We’re still a fairly small company – and much as we’d like to, we just don’t have time to respond to everyone who sends us their music. If you don’t hear from us, it almost certainly means that – for any number of reasons – our interest wasn’t aroused by what you sent. We don’t have a standard “rejection” letter, because we don’t feel that they say anything constructive to the people who receive them.

If our interest is aroused by what we hear, then we’ll get in touch – after all, that’s what we do! But, we just can’t take every telephone call, or reply to every email or fax. A gentle reminder might encourage us to dig your tape or CD out of the pile – but persistent hounding won’t be anything other than annoying. Having said that, it’s not unknown for us to offer guidance or feedback to people who get in touch with us – but we can’t promise anything.

Debate rages in the office, but we don’t think we’ve ever signed anything just on the strength of a demo alone. The best demos inspire us to go and see a band play live. The rest is up to you.

  1. Beyond Perception band

    Greetings,
    We are Beyond Perception, and we have just finished recording our second album. We are looking for a record label to help us release it. The album contains 12 tracks plus a bonus track, with a total of 69:44 min.     Band Bio:
    Beyond Perception were originally formed in the summer of 2004 by Kostas Kalavrezos (guitar), Panos Kalavrezos (bass), Tolis Toleas (drums) and Paris Poukamisas (vocals, guitar) as a Progressive/Rock Band.
    Influenced by Metal/Rock music, the nature and synthesis of the Band change after a while. Having created the material that expresses them most, they create and publish their first Demo, which is accepted with great enthusiasm by fans.
    The Band goes on tour throughout Greece, while their music becomes heavier and more aggressive.
    After two years, Paris decides to leave the Band due to different musical perceptions. It takes almost ten months for the band to find a new skillful singer who can meet their expectations. The name of the new singer is Panos Karnaris (former singer of WFDD). He is of an unusual attitude and musical preferences, which affects the Band in an upgrading way.
    They record another Demo with the new singer and after several months of hard work and fans’ encouragement, they record their first professional Album.
    They sign a contract with “Casket Music” Enterprise and soon become well known abroad, through several music websites.

    Edward is a melodic, but at the same time very hard-rocking band from Southern Finland. The band was formed in September 2003 in a very small, but nicely authentic little town called Järvenpää. The name “Edward” comes from the movie “Edward Scissorhands”, because our lead singer quite frankly adores Tim Burton’s movies.

    All the members of the band are committed to the music with their hearts and this is shown whenever the band is playing live. A huge rush of energy combined with beautiful melodies, roughness, distortion, melancholy and sensitivity makes a very, very good mix.

    By today, Edward have made dozens of gigs in Finland, released one full lenght album ('Songs to Unchain Hidden Hopes' in 2010) and many self-financed singles ('I’m Only This Small' in 2003, 'Time to Break' and 'E' in 2006, ”Back Home” in 2007, 'Life to be Unreal' in 2008 and 'Try to Make it Last' in 2009). Also, Edward's music can be found on compilation albums, such as 272 Records: Riot On Sunset Vol. 11, Mikseri.net’s Greatest Bits, Kypärä: Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 4 etc.

    After the latest releases, we have focused our strengths on playing live as much as possible (about 70 gigs in a year with no help of a booking agency) and it has already paid off very well. A fast growing fan base has led to founding of Street Teams in Finland and United States.

    Right now we're looking for a record company to work with.

    Koanuka Axé skriver egna låtar med inspiration från de afro-brasilianska religionerna umbanda, candomblé och från Bahias historia, capoeira och Brasiliens ursprungsbefolkning (Guarani) med inslag av kultur från Bahias vardag. Koanuka har som mål med sin musik att bevara de brasilianska och afrikanska indianernas historia och kultur.

    5. SHOTGUN REVOLUTION – “Join The Revolution”

    Årets överraskning halkar in på femteplatsen. Vilka är Shotgun Revolution undrar nog de flesta. Bandets debutalbum har höjts till skyarna i Danmark men i Sverige är de fortfarande okända. Influenser finns från Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, D-A-D, Gotthard, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin och AC/DC. Nästa stora export från vårt grannland heter Shotgun Revolution. Kom ihåg var ni läste det först…

    HHC är ett band från Stockholm med influenser av allt ifrån klassisk punk till indiepop till alternativ rock. Sedan starten våren 2010 har vi upplevt i princip enbart hyllningar i superlativ från publiken, och har redan fått visat intresse av diverse branschfolk. Och konstigt är väl inte det – vi är ju grymma som fan!
